For Wednesday Oct. 27, 2010

Our skies will be mostly sunny, with high level clouds. Winds will be ESE at 10
to 15 mph. Waves will be 2 to 4 feet in height and occasionally higher. Wind and
seas may increase later today. Winds and seas will begin to moderate late
Thursday, as a cold front enters the Gulf of Mexico. It is forecast to be on a line
from NW Cuba to the SW Gulf of Mexico on Saturday, and then dissipate south
of that area over the weekend. It is too early to tell what impact this front will have
on our weekend weather.
Elsewhere in the tropics, there are two large areas of disturbed weather in the
Atlantic Ocean. Each one has a 10% chance of developing into a tropical cyclone
in the next 48 hours. These systems are not a threat to us.

The air temperatures will be in the high 70s (F) to the low 80s or 24 to 25 (C).

At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 81F to 84F or 26C to 28C.
