The Tropical Weather OutlookFor the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. A stationary front extends from near the Texas/ Louisiana border to near Tampico, Mexico. The front will start to move across the northern Gulf of Mexico by mid week...reaching from the Florida Big Bend to NE Mexico Wed...from central Florida to 22N94W to the Bay of Campeche, Mexico Thu...and across the SE Gulf of Mexico Fri.
2. Fresh to strong trade winds will persist over the SE and S central Caribbean through the week between high pressure over the N Central Atlantic and a broad trough over the central and W Caribbean. A front will stall over the Yucatan Channel Fri.
3. Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days. The hurricane season in this hemisphere officially ends tomorrow, Dec. 01.


4. The SAL has increased slightly in area.

2. Fresh trade winds will persist over the SE and S central Caribbean through the middle of next week between high pressure over the N central Atlantic and a broad trough over the central Caribbean.

2. Stationary front over SW N Atlantic to 20N73W with shear line SW to 17N83W. Strong high pressure N-NE of the area will give the S central Caribbean fresh to strong E winds through Fri morning and fresh to strong NE winds to the NW Caribbean through Fri evening.

The cold front portion will move to E Cuba this afternoon before becoming stationary from Windward Passage to N Belize tonight... then will sink slowly S from Haiti to central Belize Wed night before dissipating Thu.
3. Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

1. A weak stationary front extends from W central Florida SW to 26N86W then dissipates to 25N90W. The front will gradually weaken as it lifts northward through this afternoon. A strong cold front will move off the Texas coast late this afternoon and will quickly reach from near Panama City, Florida SW to 25N90W and to the SW Gulf of Mexico by late Sat night and to far SE Gulf by Sun evening before exiting the Gulf late Sun night or early Mon morning.
2. Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.
