Again, today, skies will be sunny with some high level cloudiness and haze. Winds will be light from SE to E. This morning, winds will decrease in strength to 5 mph. Later today, they will increase to 10 to 15 mph. The seas will be 2 to 4 feet in height.
Early this morning, a weak, nearly stationary cold front reaches from northern Florida to the Bay of Campeche, Mexico. Another stronger cold front will follow it and reach from the Florida to the Yucatan on Friday morning.
Expect winds and seas here to increase this weekend.

Today, skies will be sunny with some high level cloudiness and haze. Winds will be strong and persistent from SE to E all day. This morning, wind strength will decrease from 25 mph to 15 mph or less. Then they will increase to 15 to 25 mph later this afternoon and evening. Higher wind gusts are possible, late at night or during the very early morning hours. The seas will be rough and choppy at 2 to 4 feet or greater.
Early this morning, a weak, nearly stationary cold front reaches from Tampa Bay, Florida to Galveston Bay, Texas. It will dissipate by late tonight. Another stronger cold front will follow it and reach from the Florida Panhandle to the NW Yucatan on Friday morning.
Expect winds and seas here to decrease on Thursday and Friday, as these cold fronts move SE across the Gulf of Mexico.

Today, skies will be sunny with some cloudiness. Winds will vary in direction from SE to E. This morning, wind strength will decrease from 20 mph to 10 mph or less. Increasing to 15 to 20 mph later this afternoon and evening. The seas will be at 2 to 4 feet.
A cold front will move into the Gulf of Mexico tomorrow and reach from NW Florida to Brownsville, Texas by late Thursday morning. It will then stall out. Another stronger cold front will follow it and reach from NW Florida to the NW Yucatan on Friday morning.

Today, skies will be sunny.. Winds will vary in direction from SE to NE. This morning wind strength will decrease from 15 mph to 5 mph. Increasing to 10 to 15 mph later this afternoon and evening. The seas will be at 2 to 4 feet.
A weak cold front moved off the Texas coast late yesterday. It will reach from NW Florida to the NW Yucatan Peninsula later today and then move east, out the area. A second cold front will move into the Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday and reach the Yucatan Peninsula by late Thursday.

Today, skies will again be sunny with some mid to high level cloudiness. Winds will be from the SE to E at 10 to 15 mph or less during much of today. Increasing to 15 to 20 mph or higher later this afternoon and evening. The seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet.
Expect this weather pattern to continue through most of this week and next. Wind direction and strength is diurnal. It generally rises and falls in conjunction with moon rise and setting, as well as the moon phase.
The cold front moving off the Texas coast later today will dissipate tomorrow. A second cold front will move into the Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday and reach the Bay of Campeche, Mexico by Thursday.

Again, today our weather is a repeat of yesterday. Skies will be sunny with some high level cloudiness. Winds will be from the SE to E at 10 to 15 mph during much of the day. Increasing to 15 to 20 mph or higher later this afternoon and evening. The seas will be rough at 2 to 4 feet and occasionally higher. Expect this weather to continue through most of next week. A cold front is now forecast to move off the Texas coast on Tuesday. This may cause winds and seas to decrease in strength beginning on Thursday.

Today is the vernal equinox and marks the traditional beginning of “spring” in the Northern Hemisphere. Ocean temperatures will begin to slowly climb as the days lengthen and insolation loading increases. Skies will be partly sunny with mid to high level clouds. Winds will continue to be strong to moderate from the E to NE at 15 to 20 mph. The seas will be rough and 3 to 5 feet in height. Look for winds and seas to moderate some on Tuesday and Wednesday. There is a possibility of early morning and late night showers.

This morning, a weak cold front extends from SE Louisiana to Brownsville, Texas. It is forecast to move east out of the Gulf of Mexico by Wednesday night. The easterly trade winds will strengthen later this week, with the passage of this front.
