NHC Intermediate Report_6am LT

At 6am LT, Richard was centered about 30 miles due north of us. The pressure has fallen to 990 millibars which indicates a little strengthening. It is now tracking on a course of 290 degrees. This is a change of 5 degrees to the north.

Wind and rain has steadily increased at CCV for the past couple of hours but should start diminishing as the storm continues west past us.

Richard is still a tropical storm.
