Skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be easterly in direction at 10 mph to 30mph or higher. Seas will be  moderate to rough at 2 to 4 ft or higher.The air temperatures will range from the high 70sºF to the mid to high 80s ºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 80°F to 82°F or 26ºC to 27ºC.


 




The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:1. Gulf of Mexico - A ridge will meander from the SE Gulf to the NE Texas coast...while troughing will linger in the N central or NE Gulf through the week.
2. Caribbean Sea - A tropical wave along 80W will pass through the W Caribbean through Mon. A second tropical wave along 73W will move W across the central Caribbean today...and through the W Caribbean Mon and Tue. A third tropical wave will approach the tropical N Atlantic Tue...entering the E Caribbean Wed through Thu.
3. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time.
4. Tropical Waves...
4a. Tropical wave in the east Tropical Atlantic extends along 26W from 10N-22N moving west at 10 to 15 kt over the past 24 hours. Wave coincides with a well defined 700 mb trough as depicted in the global models and is within high amplitude surge of moisture as seen on the SSMI Total Precipitable Water imagery. No associated deep convection is noted.
4b. Tropical wave in the central Tropical Atlantic extends along 42W/43W from 7N-13N moving west near 20 kt over the past 24 hours. Wave coincides with a weak 700 mb trough as depicted in the global models and is embedded within a low amplitude surge of moisture as seen on the SSMI Total Precipitable Water imagery. Scattered moderate to isolated strong convection is within a 45 nm radius of 8N43W.
4c. Tropical wave in the central Caribbean extends along 73W/74W from 12N-20N moving west at 20 to 25 kt over the past 24 hours. Wave coincides with a well defined 700 mb trough as depicted in the global models and is along the leading edge of a broad surge of moisture as seen on the SSMI Total Precipitable Water imagery. The north portion of this wave is now a surface trough north of Hispaniola.
4d. Tropical wave in the west Caribbean extends along 80W/81W from 12N-21N moving west near 20 kt over the past 24 hours. Wave is within a weak 700 mb trough as depicted in the global models and is embedded within a moderate surge of moisture as seen on the SSMI Total Precipitable Water imagery. No associated deep convection is noted.
