Skies will be mostly sunny and calm. Winds will be easterly in direction at 5 mph to 10 mph or less. Seas will be  moderate  at 1 to 3 ft or less.  The air temperatures will range from the high 70sºF to the mid to high 80s ºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 80°F to 82°F or 26ºC to 27ºC.



The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. Gulf of Mexico - A surface ridge extending E to W across the Gulf will drift northward through the period. Showers and thunderstorms across the northern Gulf will persist into the weekend. A thermal trough moving W off the Yucatan Peninsula each night will pulse fresh winds over the east Bay of Campeche.
2. Caribbean Sea - A tropical wave in the W Caribbean will move W of the area Sat. A surface trough will cross the E Caribbean today. Another tropical wave will move into the tropical N Atlantic tonight...the E Caribbean Sat night...the central Caribbean Sun night...and the W Caribbean Mon and Tue. Fresh to strong trades will develop over the central Caribbean early next week.
3. Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.
4. Tropical Waves...
4a. Tropical wave extends from 12N21W to 20N21W moving W at 10 kt. The wave coincides with a 700 mb low and associated troughing centered near 12N22W. Isolated moderate convection is from 06N- 20N between 15W-22W.
4b. Tropical wave extends from 08N43W to 15N44W moving W at 10-15 kt. The wave coincides with subtle 700 mb troughing between 42W-48W and a maximum in 850 mb relative vorticity in the vicinity of the wave axis near 08N. Isolated moderate convection is from 08N-11N between 42W-48W.
4c. Tropical wave extends from 10N81W to 21N83W moving W at 15 kt. The wave coincides with 700 mb troughing between 80W-85W. Widely scattered moderate convection is from 16N-22N between 76W- 85W. Scattered moderate convection is from 07N-11N between 76W- 82W.
