How to use this page:
The title of each of the figures below is linked to the page where the information originates.
Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.
This is not only convenient but allows you to track weather events such as cold fronts and hurricane from a single web page.

Thursday August 09, 2012
Skies will be partly cloudy, with mid to high level clouds.  Seas will be rough at 2 to 4 feet. Winds will range in strength from moderate to strong. They will vary in direction from the ESE to ENE at 10 to 25mph. There is a slight chance of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, as we are still in the outflow of Ernesto.
Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats.
Divers should look for signs of coral spawning, since full moon was on August 2nd.
The air temperatures will range from the low 80s (ºF) to the low 90s (ºF) or 26ºC to 32ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 82 to 83ºF or 26 to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet or less.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
TS Ernesto is expected to make landfall in Mexico this morning. There are heavy rains and strong winds as it approaches the coast of the southern Bay of Campeche.
Early this morning, Invest 92L, a surface low pressure system associated with a tropical wave was located at 14.6N, 39.3W or about 3100 miles south of east of  Roatan. This system has a good chance...70 percent...of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours as it moves westward at 15 mph.
If 92L continues on its present track, it should pass well to the north of  the W. Caribbean Sea.  However, all interests in the Bay Islands should continue to monitor this system as it develops and tracks west towards us.
