Thursday August 23, 2012
Skies will be partly sunny, with mid to high level clouds. Seas will be moderate to choppy at 2 to 4 feet. Winds will range in strength from a moderate breeze during the day to a strong breeze this evening. They will be E to ENE at 10 to 20 mph. Winds and seas will continue to decrease in strength through the weekend.
The air temperatures will range from the low 80s (ºF) to the low 90s (ºF) or 26ºC to 32ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 82 to 83ºF or 26 to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
At 5 am EDT, TS Isaac was located near 15.3N 64W moving W at 12 mph. Maximum sustained winds 40 mph. Minimum central pressure was 1004 mb. A USA Air Force reserve reconnaissance aircraft found Isaac slightly weaker and farther south.
The computer models which predicted the recent southwestward jog of the center of Isaac are also forecasting Isaac will make a sharp jog to the northwest over the next 12-24 hours and then steady off on a general west-northwestward motion through 48 hours.
Until this turn occurs and the storm is well to the north of us, all interests in the Bay Islands and on the North Coast of Honduras should monitor this system as it tracks directly west towards us and strengthens.
This morning, it was about 1500 miles E of  Roatan. The approximate Closest Point of Approach (CPA) is located near 23.9N, 80.2W or about 656.3 miles (1056.2 km) from Roatan. The estimated time of when the center of the storm will be at that location is early Sunday, August 26, 2012.
