Skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be ESE in direction at 5 mph to 10 mph during the day; becoming ENE this afternoon and evening at 15 mph to 20 mph. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet.
A stationary cold front in the Gulf of Mexico stretches from Tampa Bay, Florida to near Vera Cruz, Mexico. This cold front will move SE across the Yucatan Channel and into the far NW Caribbean by early Wednesday and dissipate on Thursday.
Strong high pressure behind front will build across the region Wednesday night through Friday...increasing the tradewinds across entire region.
A weak cold front will move quickly across the northern Gulf of Mexico late Friday and Saturday.
The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 79°F to 81°F or 24ºC to 25ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 16 and 17 below.
