Skies will be partly sunny. Winds will be light and westerly in direction at 5 mph to 15 mph or less. There is a very slight chance of scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms today.
Seas will be  moderate to calm at 1 to 3 ft. or less.  The air temperatures will range from the high 70sºF to the mid to high 80s ºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 80°F to 82°F or 26ºC to 27ºC.




The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:1. Gulf of Mexico - A NW to SE orientated surface trough will meander across the SW Gulf waters through Wed night with a surface low developing intermittently along the trough. A weak trough over the E Gulf will dissipate this morning. A NE to SW ridge will extend across the NW Gulf waters through Wed night...then weaken as a cold front moves off the Texas coast on Thu. The cold front will race E reaching from the Florida Big Bend to the Yucatan Peninsula on Fri night.
2. Caribbean Sea - A broad area of low pressure will persist across the SW Caribbean through Fri night. Large N swells will move S into the tropical waters NE of the Leewards today and continue S through the NE Caribbean passages tonight through mid-week. These swells will reach the N coast of S America on Tue night...then gradually subside by the end of the week.
3. ...Special Features...
3a. The center of Hurricane Nicole at 17/0300 UTC is near 40.5N 45.5W. Nicole is moving toward the NE, or 40 degrees, 8 knots. The estimated minimum central pressure is 960 mb. The maximum sustained wind speeds are 70 knots with gusts to 85 knots. Convective precipitation: widely scattered moderate to isolated strong within 120 nm of the center in the N semicircle, and within 90 nm of the center in the S semicircle.
4. ...Tropical Waves...
4a. No tropical wave has been analyzed in the Atlantic basin at this time.
4b. A surface trough is along 59W/61W from 12N to 19N. Convective precipitation: widely scattered moderate to isolated strong is in the Atlantic Ocean from 12N to 18N between 50W and 60W. An upper level trough is in the Atlantic Ocean just to the east of the surface trough.
