Skies will be partly sunny. Winds will be light and variable in direction at 5 mph to 10 mph or less. Seas will be  moderate to calm at 1 to 3 ft. or less. The air temperatures will range from the high 70sºF to the mid to high 80s ºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 80°F to 82°F or 26ºC to 27ºC.




The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:1. Gulf of Mexico - An increase in winds and seas are expected over the E Gulf now through Fri night as Hurricane Matthew moves N across the NW Bahamas and then along the E coast of Florida. A tropical storm warning is in effect E of the offshore zones along portions of FL W coast. A cold front will arrive over the NW Gulf on Sat...then reach the SE Gulf late Sun.
2. Caribbean Sea - Hurricane Matthew near 25.1N 77.8W 940 mb at 11 am EDT moving NW at 12 kt. maximum sustained winds 120 kt with gusts to 145 kt. The center of Matthew will move NW across the NW Bahamas today...and then N near the E coast of FL through Fri evening. Winds and seas will continue to diminish across the N central Caribbean today. A tropical wave moving across the Lesser Antilles will reach Puerto Rico Fri...and the Dominican Republic by Sat.
3. Special Features
3a. Tropical Storm Nicole is centered near 26.5N 64.7W at 06/0900 UTC or 350 nm south of Bermuda and about 490 nm north of San Juan, Puerto Rico moving northwest at 8 kt. Estimated minimum central pressure is 995 mb. Maximum sustained wind speed is 60 kt with gusts to 75 kt. Scattered moderate to isolated strong convection is from 24N-28N between 61W-66W.
4...Tropical Waves...
4a. Tropical wave extends from 19N59W to 10N61W moving northwest near 15 kt over the past 24 hours. Wave coincides with a 700 mb trough south of 13N and remains embedded within an area of moisture. Scattered moderate to strong convection is from 11N- 16N between 53W-58W.
