Again, today, skies will be partly sunny. Seas will be calm at 1 to 3 feet or less. Winds will be light and variable in direction, this morning, at 5 mph or less; increasing this afternoon and evening to 15 to 25 mph. In the afternoon, winds will be ENE to E in direction. Winds and seas will continue to increase in strength through Sunday. There is a chance of scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms, as a tropical wave passes over us.
The air temperatures will range from the mid 80s (ºF) to the low 90s (ºF) or 25ºC to 32ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 82°F to 84ºF or 27ºC to 28ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
A strong tropical wave along 83W, will move across the Western Caribbean today. In its wake...expect fresh to strong winds and building seas. A second tropical wave will move across the tropical N Atlantic late Friday and Saturday...entering the eastern Caribbean Sunday and the central Caribbean Monday.
There is a disturbed area of low pressure in the NE Gulf of Mexico. It has a 10% chance for further development. Elsewhere, there are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time.
The SAL has decreased slightly in density. See Figs. 9 and 9a.

Coral spawning
Coral spawning and other mass reproductive activity may occur for next nine (9) nights. Historically, in the Bay Islands, this activity peaks 3 to 6 days after the August full moon. Usually between the hours of 10pm to 2am. This year, the August full moon, for our location, occurred at 7:45pm, Tuesday, 130820.
