How to use this page:
The title of each of the figures below is linked to the page where the information originates.
Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.
This is not only convenient but allows you to track weather events such as cold fronts and hurricanes from a single web page.
In addition, in the right column is a very useful widget. It is a trip planner...yesteryear's weather at a glance. This widget lets you check historic weather for your trip dates.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic.
Very dry air from a Saharan Air outbreak continues to spread across the Caribbean basin in the lower and middle levels which along with strong wind shear is inhibiting convection. A tropical wave is moving across the Lesser Antilles embedded within a dry air environment as depicted in total precipitable water imagery. Go to http://roatanweather.blogspot.com/ . See Fig 10.
This dry air is supporting fair weather.
A weak tropical wave along 60W will enter the E Caribbean later today...the central Caribbean
Wednesday night and Thursday...then the W Caribbean Friday and Saturday.
The SAL remains relatively constant in terms of area covered. But it has increased again in density off the African coast. Go to http://roatanweather.blogspot.com/ . See Figs 9 and 9a.
