The Roatan Weather Forecast

 CoCoView is located
at
16.3°N Latitude x 86.5°W Longitude
in the
NW Caribbean Sea
and
 
For Monday, Sept 27, 2010
 
Today, again sunny with high level cloudiness. Scattered showers and thunderstorms 
are possible. 
The winds will be S to SE at 5 to 10 mph or less. Seas are moderate at 1 to 3 feet. 
Winds and seas may increase later.
Tropical cyclone systems Lisa and Matthew have dissipated.
The large low pressure system which has formed over the Western Caribbean is 
now given a 30% chance of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours. 
It is expected to drift north over the next few days. (See Figs 1 & 2 below)

All interests in the Bay Islands should monitor the status of this system.

The air temperatures will be in the mid to high 80s (F) or 27 - 29 (C).

Ocean water temperatures are about 85F to 87F or 29C to 30C.
