NW Caribbean Sea

This morning, the cold front which moved off the Texas coast yesterday, extends from the Florida Panhandle to the Bay of Campeche, Mexico.

It will move into the NW Caribbean Sea on Friday. By Saturday afternoon, it will extend from E. Cuba to NE Honduras, where it will stall. It will dissipate on Sunday. This cold front will dominate our weather through Saturday.

Today, skies will be partly sunny with mid to high level clouds. Scattered and intermittent showers are possible. Winds will initially be strong at 15 to 20 mph from the SE; decreasing to 10 mph or less later today. The seas will be 2 to 4 feet in height.

The air temperatures will be in the low 70s (F) to the low 80s or 24 to 25 (C).
At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 79F to 80F or 26C .
