The cold front in the Gulf of Mexico, which now stretches from the Florida Panhandle to the eastern Bay of Campeche, Mexico remains nearly stationary. It will dissipate on Sunday.

Another cold front will enter the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday and reach the NW Caribbean Sea by Monday. It is forecast to lie on a line from E. Cuba to E. Honduras by Tuesday. Then it will stall and dissipate on Wednesday. A third cold front will move off the Texas coast late Wednesday. It will extend from SE Louisiana to near Tampico, Mexico by Wednesday night.

Today skies will be sunny with a few high level clouds. Wind will be mostly E to NE at 10 to 15 mph. The seas will be 2 to 4 feet. Winds and seas will continue to gradually diminish through today and early Sunday.

The air temperatures will be in the low 70s (F) to the low 80s or 24 to 25 (C).
At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 76F to77F or 25C or lower.
