Today, skies will be partly sunny with extensive mid to high level cloudiness.

Winds will be light and variable this morning and afternoon, at less than 10 mph. This evening, they will be NE to E and strengthen to 10 mph to 15 mph. The seas will be 1 to 4 feet in height.

Scattered, intermittent showers are possible throughout the day. Some remnants of the cold front which caused last week's rains still remain. That cooler air mixing with the warmer tropical air is responsible for today's showers.

A weak cold front will enter the Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday. It is expected to move to the Central Gulf and dissipate on Wednesday

The air temperatures will be in the high 70s (F) to the low 80s or 24 to 25 (C).
At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 79F to 80F or 26C .
