Early this morning, a cold front reaches from central Florida to the eastern Bay of Campeche, Mexico.

It will enter the Yucatan Strait on Saturday, then stall and dissipate over the far NW Caribbean Sea on Sunday. Winds and seas swill begin to diminish on Friday. Another cold front is expected to move off the Texas coast late Sunday night.

Today skies will be sunny with a few high level clouds. Wind will be mostly E to SE at 15 to 20 mph. The seas will be 2 to 4 feet. Occasionally, wind and seas may be higher. These conditions will prevail through today.

The air temperatures will be in the low 70s (F) to the low 80s or 24 to 25 (C).
At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 76F to77F or 25C or lower.
