Today, it will be sunny, hot, muggy and buggy. Winds will be light at 3 to 12 mph and mostly easterly. The seas will be 1 to 4 feet in height.

This morning, the approaching cold front extends from SE Florida to the NE tip of the Yucatan Peninsula. Then it turns due south to the Guatemalan Honduran border. It has stalled there. A blast of cold, high pressure air, moving off the Texas coast later today, will push it into the NW Caribbean Sea tonight. Scattered and intermittent showers are possible; along, ahead and behind the front. By Saturday, it will extend from E. Cuba to NE Honduras. It will continue to slowly drift SE and dissipate on Sunday.

The air temperatures will be in the low 70s (F) to the low 80s or 24 to 25 (C).
At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 79F to 80F or 26C .
