Skies will be partly cloudy.  Winds will be easterly in direction at 5 mph to 20 mph or less. Seas will be  calm at 1 to 3 ft or less.  The air temperatures will range from the high 70sºF to the mid to high 80s ºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 80°F to 82°F or 26ºC to 27ºC.





The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:1. Gulf of Mexico - Tropical Storm Hermine is centered near 26.4N 86.6W at 0900 UTC...moving N-NE or 20 degrees at 10 kt. Maximum sustained winds 50 kt gusts to 60 kt. Hermine is forecast to continue moving NNE and reach near 27.8N 85.8W Thu afternoon...near 30.0N 84.2W Thu night as a hurricane. Hermine will then move inland across the Florida Big Bend region late Thu night before tracking NE across inland Georgia on Fri.
2. Caribbean Sea - High pres ridge building W along 25N N of the area will support fresh to strong trades in the south central Caribbean through Fri...with moderate trades expected elsewhere. A tropical wave is approaching the region from eastern Atlc...and will move across the Windward and Leeward Islands Sat night...reaching the central Caribbean by late Sun...and the W Caribbean by Tue. The tropical wave will allow trade winds to diminish across the SE Caribbean from late Sat into Mon.
3. ...Tropical Waves...
3a. A tropical wave in the east Atlantic extends its axis from 21N34W to 09N36W, moving west 15 to 20 kt over the past 24 hours. The wave coincides with a well defined trough in global models at 700 mb. Isolated convection prevails from 12N-17N between 30W-36W.
