How to use this page:
The title of each of the figures below is linked to the page where the information originates.
Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.
This is not only convenient but allows you to track weather events such as cold fronts and hurricanes from a single web page.
In addition, in the right column is a very useful widget. It is a trip planner...yesteryear's weather at a glance. This widget lets you check historic weather for your trip dates.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
The tropical wave, designated Invested 93L has moved into the Gulf of Mexico. It has a medium to high chance, 60% to 80% of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 5 days
TS Gabrielle has sped by Bermuda.
Humberto is a Cat 1 hurricane. Maximum sustained winds are 85 mph and it is moving N at 15 mph. This morning, it was located at 18.8N x 29W or about 3800 miles N of E of us.
A new broad area of low pressure, centered about 500 miles east of the Leeward Islands remains
limited. Although surface pressures are falling significantly in the area...environmental conditions do not appear to be favorable for development. This disturbance has a low chance...10 percent...of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours. Upper-level winds could become a little more favorable in several days...and this system has a low chance...20 percent...of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 5 days as it moves toward the west-northwest.
Interests here should monitor these systems as they continue to develop.
The SAL, has decreased significantly in density and area. See Figs. 9 and 9a.
