Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.
This is not only convenient but allows you to track weather events such as cold fronts and hurricanes from a single web page.
In addition, in the right column is a very useful widget. It is a trip planner...yesteryear's weather at a glance. This widget lets you check historic weather for your trip dates.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
This morning Invest 95L was centered about 260 miles NW of us, in the Yucatan. It is still a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms over the NW Caribbean Sea. The low is forecast to continue moving slowly W-NW over the Yucatan peninsula today and emerge over the Bay of Campeche. Conditions are favorable for further development in the next day or two...and this system has a high chance...70 percent...of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.
TD Ingrid has dissipated.
TS Humberto is forecast to turn northward today. It is in the mid-Atlantic away from any landmass.
The SAL, has decreased very slightly in area and density. See Figs. 9 and 9a.
