Skies will be partly sunny. Winds will be easterly in direction at 15 mph or 30 mph. Sea will be moderate to rough at 2 ft. to 4 ft. Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats, especially on the afternoon dives. The air temperatures will range from the high 70sºF to the mid to high 80s ºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 76°F to 78°F or 24ºC to 25ºC






The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters through the forecast period supporting mainly moderate to fresh E to SE winds. Fresh to locally strong E to SE winds are expected at night off the Yucatan Peninsula due to local effects. The next cold front is forecast to clip the NW Gulf Tuesday night into Wed morning...then will move N of the area. A second cold front is expected to reach the NW Gulf by Thu night.
3. Caribbean Sea - High pressure N of area will support fresh to strong winds across much of the basin...including the Atlantic passages... through Wed. strong winds will continue off the coast of Colombia through Thu...reaching near gale force at night. High pressure N of area will then weaken late this week.
3a. Fresh to strong trade winds are observed over the Caribbean Sea. The strongest winds are seen south of Cuba, in the Windward Passage and along the coast of Colombia. Isolated shower coverage continues over the Caribbean. In the upper levels, a broad upper level ridge remains in place over the eastern Caribbean Sea. An upper level trough extends SW from Cuba to Honduras. Strong subsidence associated with these features covers the entire Caribbean. Expect similar weather and surface wind conditions to persist through Monday night.
