Today, skies will be partly cloudy with a chance of intermittent rain. Winds will be WSW to W in direction at 20 mph throughout the day. Decreasing to 15 mph or less, late this afternoon and evening Seas will be confused, choppy and rough at 2 to 4 feet or higher.
This morning, satellite imagery shows that the remnants of the cold front reach from just west of Roatan and the Bay Islands to eastern Cuba and out into the Atlantic Ocean. The frontal boundary will continue moving NE and is diminishing in strength.
Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats. With wind chill, it will feel like the mid 60s F, especially when exiting the water.
Tomorrow skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be easterly and light at 10 mph or less through the morning and afternoon hours.
A cold front will approach the Yucatan Channel Saturday night but will dissipate N of the NW Caribbean on Sunday. Another front may move through the Gulf of Mexico on Monday.
The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 79°F to 82°F or 25ºC to 26ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.

The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 9 and 9a below.
