Today, skies will be sunny. Winds will be mostly ESE in direction at 5 mph to 15 mph this morning. Increasing to 20 mph to 25 mph this afternoon and evening. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet. Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats, especially on the afternoon dives. This morning, a stationary front from south central Florida to the Bay of Campeche will drift northward over the eastern Gulf of Mexico through tonight. The front is expected to move south again and become diffuse over the southern Gulf of Mexico on Saturday and Sunday. The next cold front expected to move off the Texas coast early Tuesday. This front will extend from SE Louisiana to northern Mexico by Tuesday morning...then from the Florida Panhandle to near Tuxpan, Mexico Tuesday evening.
The air temperatures will range from the low 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 77°F to 79°F or 23ºC to 24ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
