Today, skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be easterly in direction at 10 mph to 15 mph. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet. Expect winds and seas to continue to moderate. There is a chance of intermittent rain as cool, high pressure air drifts in from the north
Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats, especially on the afternoon dives.
A cold front in the NW Gulf of Mexico will reach from Tampa Bay to the eastern Bay of Campeche, Mexico tonight. The front will stall over the far SE waters on Thursday and gradually dissipate through Friday.
The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 77°F to 79°F or 23ºC to 24ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 9 and 9a below.
