Again today, skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be strong from the ESE in direction at 15 mph to 20 mph during the day or higher; increasing to 20 mph to 25 mph this afternoon and evening from the E. Seas will be rough to very rough at 2 to 4 feet or higher.
Expect these winds and seas to continue through at least Monday.
Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats, especially on the afternoon dives.
A cold front is over the NW Gulf of Mexico waters will become stationary from Tampa Bay to the Eastern Bay of Campeche this evening.
Yet another cold front will drift into the northern Gulf of Mexico late Saturday into Sunday. A
third cold front will move into the northern Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday; reaching from the Florida Big Bend to SE Texas at sunrise on Wednesday.
The air temperatures will range from the low 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 77°F to 79°F or 23ºC to 24ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 9 and 9a below.
