Skies will be mostly sunny today. Winds will be moderate to strong and easterly in direction at 15 mph to 25 mph. Seas will be  moderate to rough at 2 ft. to 4 ft. or higher. Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats, especially on the afternoon dives. The air temperatures will range from the mid 70sºF to the mid 80s ºF or 22°C to 24ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 79°F to 81°F or 26ºC to 27ºC.






The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - A cold front extending from the Florida Panhandle to NE Mexico will reach from the Florida Big Bend to Tampico, Mexico this morning...from south Florida to the Bay of Campeche, Mexico tonight and move SE of the Gulf early Fri. Strong to near gale force northerly flow will follow the front...with minimal gale conditions along the coast of Mexico from 22N to 24N today...and S of 21N W of 95W tonight. SE return flow will set up over the NW Gulf on Fri night and spread E across the entire Gulf on Mon.
3. Caribbean Sea - Pulsing winds to minimal gale force are expected during the overnight and early morning hours within 90 NM of the coast of Colombia through Mon night. Otherwise strong Atlantic high pressure will maintain fresh to strong trades E of 80W through Sun night...and across the NW waters W of a cold front this weekend.
3a. NE-to-E middle level-to-upper level wind flow is moving through the Caribbean Sea. E wind flow from 600 mb to 800 mb covers the area that is from 13N northward. NE wind flow from 600 mb to 800 mb is in the SW corner of the area. Rainshowers are possible across the Caribbean Sea, in areas of broken low level clouds, mostly to the east of the line from the central coastal sections of Honduras to central Cuba. The 24-hour rainfall amounts, for the period ending at 02/0000 UTC...according to the PAN AMERICAN TEMPERATURE AND PRECIPITATION TABLES...MIATPTPAN/SXCA01 KNHC...are: 0.24 in Guadeloupe.
