Tuesday, November 17, 2015Skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be easterly in direction at 10 mph or less today; increasing to 15 mph to 20 mph this afternoon and evening. Seas will be moderate to choppy at 2 ft to 4 ft.
The air temperatures will range from the low to high 80sºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 84°F to 87°F or 29ºC to 31ºC.




The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. Strong southerly return flow over the NW Gulf of Mexico will spread E across the N central Gulf this afternoon in advance of a cold front moving off the Texas coast. The front will extend from the Mississippi Delta to the W Bay of Campeche, mEEXICO early Wed...from the Florida Panhandle to the Bay of Campeche early Thu...before dissipating. A reinforcing front sweeps into the northern Gulf Sat with increasing N winds and seas spreading S over the NW half of the Gulf of Mexico.
2. Broad low pressure will meander over the SW Caribbean waters through Thu night...then move inland over Costa Rica on Fri.
3. Cloudiness and a few thunderstorms located over portions of the SW Caribbean Sea are associated with a weak area of low pressure. This system is likely to drift westward and move inland over Central America during the next day or two without significant development. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...low...10 percent


4. The SAL has decreased slightly in area and density.
