Wednesday, November 18, 2015Skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be easterly in direction at 10 mph or less today; increasing to 15 mph to 25 mph or higher this afternoon and evening. Seas will be moderate to rough at 2 ft to 4 ft.
The air temperatures will range from the low to high 80sºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 84°F to 87°F or 29ºC to 31ºC.

The Tropical Weather Outlook

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. Gulf of Mexico - A cold front extends from SE Louisiana to near Tuxpan, Mexico. The front will extend from the Florida Panhandle to the Bay of Campeche, Mexico this evening and stall from central Florida to the Yucatan Peninsula on thu. Remnants of the front will drift W across the SE Gulf on Fri into Sat. A second cold front will move into the NW Gulf late Sat and absorb the initial frontal remnants. The merged front will move E of the Gulf on Sun.
2. Broad low pressure will meander over the SW Caribbean waters through Thu night...then move inland over Costa Rica on Fri.
3. Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

4. The SAL has again decreased slightly in area and density.
