Sunday, November 15, 2015Skies will be partly cloudy with a chance of rain. Winds will be easterly in direction at 15 mph to 20 mph or higher today; increasing to 15 mph to  25 mph this afternoon and evening. Seas will be moderate to choppy at 2 ft to 4 ft.
The air temperatures will range from the low to high 80sºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 84°F to 87°F or 29ºC to 31ºC.





 

The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. A stationary front extending from SW Florida to near 24N90W will become diffuse by this evening. The next front forecast to move off the Texas Coast Tue afternoon. The front will reach from Appalachicola, Florida to Veracruz, Mexico Wed then start to stall from near Tampa, Florida to the SW Gulf of Mexico Thu. Strong winds...possibly to gale force...will follow the front along the coast of Veracruz, Mexico late Wed.
2. High pressure N of the area will maintain fresh to strong trades primarily across the S central Caribbean through Mon with winds near gale force along the coast of Colombia tonight. Trades will then diminish across the area late Mon into Tue and maintain fresh levels through Thu night.
3. Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.


4. The SAL has increased slightly in area and density.
