Today, skies will be partly cloudy. Winds will be easterly in direction at 8 mph to 12 mph this morning; increasing to 15 to 25 mph this afternoon and evening. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet. Winds and seas are forecast to remain at these strengths for the rest of this week.

There is a chance of scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially during the early morning, late night hours .

The air temperatures will range from the mid to high 70s (ºF) to the mid to high 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.

Ocean water temperatures are 82°F to 84°F or 24ºC to 25ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.

The Tropical Weather Outlook

A tropical wave is located about 420 miles southwest of the Cape Verde Islands. 

The associated shower activity is limited and disorganized, and development should 

be slow to occur over the next couple of days. By the middle of this week, however,

environmental conditions are expected to become conducive for gradual development

over the central tropical Atlantic as the system moves westward at 10 to 15 mph.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent.
A tropical wave south of the Mona Passage will move across the Central Caribbean 

today...reaching Central America and the NW Caribbean Monday late and into Yucatan

Peninsula Tuesday. Another tropical wave will approach the Leeward Islands by late

Thursday.
