Again
today, skies
will be partly cloudy. Seas
will be calm at 1 to 3 feet.
Winds will be light and variable in direction at 10 mph or less mph
today. There is a slight chance of scattered rain showers and
isolated thunderstorms.
A weak cold front will stall in the NW and N central Gulf of Mexico
coastal waters through today...becoming diffuse and dissipating by
Wednesday.
The air temperatures will range from
the low 80s (ºF) to the low 90s (ºF) or 25ºC to 32ºC.
Ocean
water temperatures are 81°F
to 82ºF or 26ºC
to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
The Tropical Weather Outlook
The tropical wave now in the W Caribbean will move across the rest
of the NW Caribbean today before moving moving inland over the
Yucatan Peninsula late this evening. An E Caribbean tropical wave
will move across the rest of the E Caribbean today, then across the
central Caribbean Monday and across the W Caribbean Tuesday and
Wednesday. A third tropical wave is expected to approach the Windward
Islands Thursday. The probability, of any of these systems to
develop into tropical storms is low. The Saharan Air Layer (SAL) has
decreased slightly in both size and intensity.
Else
where, tropical cyclone formation
is not expected during the next 48 hours.
