Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.

Again today, skies will be mostly sunny. At times, there maybe a smoky haze in the atmosphere caused by the combination of smoke, from the slash and burn agricultural practices used in Central America, and airborne salt particles. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet. Winds will be ESE in direction at 10 mph to 15 mph during the day; increasing to 20 mph from the E this afternoon and evening.

A cold front from central Florida to the E Bay of Campeche, Mexico will stall from SW Florida to the Yucatan Peninsula today...where it will weaken and dissipate through Sunday. Another cold front is expected to move into the NW Gulf of Mexico Wednesday.

High pressure NE of the Caribbean will maintain moderate to fresh trade winds across the region through tonight. Winds and seas will gradually diminish Sunday through Wednesday.

The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the high 80s (ºF) or 25ºC to 31ºC.

Ocean water temperatures are 79 to 81ºF or 26 to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
