Today, skies will be sunny. Seas will be rough at 2 to 4 feet or higher. This morning, winds will be strong and ESE in direction at 15 mph to 25 mph or higher. Winds and seas will steadily increase in strength this afternoon and evening to near gale force. Winds and seas will begin to moderate on Thursday.
A cold front associated with a developing low pressure system in the Gulf of Mexico is expected to reach the Yucatan Channel Friday...then weaken over the NW Caribbean Saturday.
Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats, especially on the afternoon dives.
The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the high 80s (ºF) or 25ºC to 31ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 77 to 79ºF or 25 to 26ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
