Today, skies will be mostly sunny. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet. Winds will be ESE to ENE in direction at 10 to 20 mph.
Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats.
This morning, a stationary cold front extending from near Mobile Bay, Alabama to the Mexican coast is expected to drift NW today...then move SE tonight through late Friday....reaching the Straits of Florida to NE Yucatan Friday night. Strong northerly winds west of the front are expected to increase to gale force over SW Gulf of Mexico early Wednesday through Thursday morning.
This cold front will cross the Yucatan Channel early Friday and extend from Straits of Florida across western Cuba to the east coast of the Yucatan by early Saturday.
The air temperatures will range from the low 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 21ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 79 to 80ºF or 26 to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
