Today, skies will be mostly sunny. Seas will be choppy to rough at 2 to 4 feet. Winds will be ESE to ENE in direction at 15 to 20 mph.
Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats.
This morning a cold front extending from the Mississippi Delta to near Vera Cruz, Mexico will move little through Tuesday...then sweep through the SE the Gulf of Mexico Wednesday through early Friday. Strong northerly winds will follow the front along the coast of Mexico...possibly reaching gale
force.
This cold front will push through the Yucatan Channel early Friday...and extend from western Cuba to the Gulf of Honduras by late Friday.
The air temperatures will range from the low 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 21ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 79 to 80ºF or 26 to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
