The Tropical Weather Outlook

The monsoon trough of low pressure persists over Central America. Flow around this system continues to pull moisture in from the western Caribbean Sea and allows for thunderstorms to persist from Panama to the Yucatan.
A tropical wave is in the Caribbean along 69W/70W, S of 21N and is moving W at 15-20 kt.
