Saturday July 14, 2012
Again today, skies will be partly sunny with mid to high level clouds. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet. Winds will be moderate from the E to ENE, at 10 to 15 mph.
An upper low over the S Gulf of Mexico extends S over the far NW Caribbean with near zonal westerly flow aloft dominating most of the remainder of the Caribbean through tonight. Meanwhile a monsoon trough of low pressure remains over Central America. This allows for heavy showers and thunderstorms to pop up from Honduras through Panama. There is a slight chance of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
