Skies will be partly sunny, as a monsoon trough of low pressure hovers over Central America, pulling moisture in from the southwestern Caribbean Sea. This will support additional showers and thunderstorms across Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Honduras. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet. Winds will range in strength from gentle during the day to fresh this evening. They will be from the E to ENE at 5 to 20 mph.
The air temperatures will range from the low 80s (ºF) to the low 90s (ºF) or 26ºC to 32ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 82 to 83ºF or 26 to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
The Tropical Weather Outlook
Tropical storm formation is not expected for the next 48 hours.
A tropical wave is along 67W/68W from 11N to 17N . It is moving west.
Saharan desert dust, in the atmosphere, continues to diminish, increasing the chances of tropical storm formation.
