Today, is the first day of summer. Skies will be mostly sunny with mid to high level cloudiness. This morning, winds will be from the E to SE at 15 to 20 mph. The seas will be at 2 to 4 feet. This afternoon and evening, winds will increase in strength to 25 to 30mph. Occasionally winds and seas may be higher.
Tropical storm formation is not expected in the next 24 hours.
Two tropical waves are still headed in our direction. The closest one is centered at 70W. The second wave is centered at 45W. The nearest wave is forecast to arrive in the Western Caribbean this weekend. Expect this weather pattern to continue through this weekend.
The air temperatures will be in the 80s to the mid 90s (F) or 27 to 32 (C).
At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 82F to 84F or 28C to 29C . Visibility is generally 60 to 80 feet.
