Today, skies will be partly sunny. Winds will be ENE in direction at 8 mph to 10 mph during the day; increasing to 15 mph from the NE this afternoon and evening. Seas will be moderate to calm at 1 to 3 feet.
There is a very slight chance of scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially during the early morning, late night hours.
The trailing edge of a weakening cold front in the NW Caribbean Sea...continues to gradually dissipate over the NW and N central Caribbean. The next, weak cold front is expected to move into the Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday.
Expect moderate easterly tradewinds and seas through midday Wednesday. Winds and seas will increase in force beginning on Thursday. These fresh to strong winds will prevail through this weekend.
The air temperatures will range from the low to mid 70s (ºF) to the low to mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 80°F to 82°F or 24ºC to 25ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 16 and 17 below.
