Again, today, skies will be mostly sunny. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet. Winds will be moderate and ESE in direction, this morning, at 10 mph to 15 mph; increasing to 15 to 20 mph , from the ENE, this afternoon and evening.
The air temperatures will range from the mid 80s (ºF) to the low 90s (ºF) or 25ºC to 32ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 84°F to 86ºF or 28ºC to 29ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
Invest 97L has strengthened and is now TS Karen. Karen is moving north-northwestward and is expected to turn northward later today. This morning, it was located at 25.2N 90.0W or about 275 mi...SSW of the mouth of the Mississippi river. Present movement is NNW or 330 degrees at 10 mph...minimum central pressure...1003 mb...29.62 inches.
A cold front will move off the Texas coast Sunday W of Karen...and reach from the Florida Panhandle to the W Bay of Campeche, Mexico, Monday before becoming diffuse Tuesday.
Jerry has dissipated.
The SAL, has decreased in area and density in the last 24 hours. See Figs. 9 and 9a.
