How to use this page:
The title of each of the figures below is linked to the page where the information originates.
Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.
This is not only convenient but allows you to track weather events such as cold fronts and hurricanes from a single web page.
In addition, in the right column is a very useful widget. It is a trip planner...yesteryear's weather at a glance. This widget lets you check historic weather for your trip dates.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
A tropical wave is moving across Central America today. A stationary cold front from Western Cuba to the Bay of Campeche will gradually become diffuse through late Sunday. There are strong north winds behind this front. It may drift further south, before dissipating completely; as there is another weak cold front pushing off the Texas coast today. This morning, satellite imagery shows, there is a broken, multilayer of clouds, over the NW corner of the W. Caribbean Sea. This area includes the Bay Islands of Honduras.
Lorenzo has dissipated and only has a 20% chance of reforming. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time.
The SAL, has decreased in area and density in the last 24 hours. See Figs. 9 and 9a.
