Today is the vernal equinox and marks the traditional beginning of “spring” in the Northern Hemisphere. Ocean temperatures will begin to slowly climb as the days lengthen and insolation loading increases. Skies will be partly sunny with mid to high level clouds. Winds will continue to be strong to moderate from the E to NE at 15 to 20 mph. The seas will be rough and 3 to 5 feet in height. Look for winds and seas to moderate some on Tuesday and Wednesday. There is a possibility of early morning and late night showers.
