For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - Low pressure near 32N44W 993 mb. Weakening cold front from 31N35W to 21N38W to 15N60W. N of 25N between 40W and 55W Winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 15 to 21 ft in N swell. N of 28N E of 36W S winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas to 12 ft. elsewhere SE of a line from 31N61W to 20N71W to another line from 25N35W to 15N55W to 15N61W winds 20 kt or less. Seas 8 to 12 ft in N swell...except 12 to 16 ft in N swell N of 20N between 38W and 57W.
3. Caribbean Sea - Caribbean NE Atlantic passages winds 20 kt or less. Seas to 8 ft in N swell. 24 hour forecast NE Atlantic passages winds 20 kt or less. Seas to 8 ft in N swell. 48 hour forecast winds 20 kt or less. Seas less than 8 ft. Remainder of area winds 20 kt or less. Seas less than 8 ft.
