Skies will be mostly sunny. Today there is a very slight chance of scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms. Winds will be light and variable in direction at 15 mph or less.  Seas will be moderate to calm at 1 ft. to 4ft. The air temperatures will range from the high 70sºF to the mid to high 80s ºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 78°F to 80°F or 25ºC to 26ºC.






The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - High pressure will prevail over the forecast waters through Tue. A surface trough will develop each evening over the Yucatan Peninsula and shift westward into the SW Gulf each night before dissipating each morning.
3. Caribbean Sea - Atlantic high pressure will build across the waters N of the area. This will bring an increase in winds and seas across much of the area through Tue.
3a. 15-20 kt NE surface flow is over the western Caribbean. 15-20 kt easterly tradewind flow is over the remainder of the Caribbean Sea. Scattered showers are over the central and eastern Caribbean between 64W-80W. In the upper levels, NE upper level flow is over the NW Caribbean with strong subsidence. An upper level low is centered over E Cuba. Upper level moisture is over the eastern Caribbean. Expect over the next 24 hours for precipitation to spread into the western Caribbean. Also expect additional showers to advect from the Atlantic to the E Caribbean.
