Skies will be mostly cloudy. Winds will be variable in direction at 5 mph to 25 mph. Seas will be  moderate to calm  at 1 ft to 4 ft. There is a chance of rain later today and tomorrow as a late season cold front moves across the area..
The air temperatures will range from the low 70sºF to mid 80s ºF or 25°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 78°F to 82°F or 25ºC to 27ºC.



The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:1. A cold front moving SE across the Straits of Florida and Yucatan Channel this morning will move SE of the area today. High pressure and a reinforcing surge of cool air will prevail across the region today through Sat with moderate to fresh northerly winds. High pressure will shift E into the NE Gulf of Mexico Sat night and Sun allowing moderate to fresh return flow to develop W of 90W and increase to strong flow on Mon.
2. Moderate E to SE trade winds will prevail across most of E half of Caribbean basin through the weekend as a late season cold front moves SE across the W half of basin. Cold front across the Yucatan Channel early this morning will reach from central Cuba to the NW Gulf of Honduras this evening...from far E Cuba to central Nicaragua Fri evening...then slow forward progress and extend from NW Haiti to Costa Rica-Panama border Sat evening. Front to stall and weaken from central Hispaniola to central Panama Sun. High pressure will build from Gulf of Mexico E-SE behind front over the weekend and induce fresh to strong NE flow through the Windward Passage and lee of Cuba Sun and Sun night.
3. METEORS FROM HALLEY'S COMET: Earth is entering a stream of debris from Halley's Comet, source of the annual eta Aquariid meteor shower. Forecasters expect the shower to peak on the nights around May 5th and 6th with 30+ meteors per hour. The best time to look, no matter where you live, is probably during the dark hours before sunrise on Friday.
