Skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be easterly in direction at 5 mph to 15 mph today.  Seas will be moderate to calm at 1 ft to 3 ft..
The air temperatures will range from the low 70sºF to mid 80s ºF or 25°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 78°F to 82°F or 25ºC to 27ºC.


 


The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. A fast moving cold front will pass S through the E Gulf of Mexico today. High pressure will build from the NE in the wake of the front. A trough will develop along the Yucatan Peninsula each afternoon and weaken as it moves W overnight each night. A new cold front will move into NW waters Tue morning...stretch from the Florida Big Bend to Corpus Christi, Texas Wed morning and weaken from Sarasota Bay to Corpus Christi Thu morning.
2.Fresh to strong trade winds lie across the S central Caribbean with stronger winds found close to the coast of Colombia briefly reaching gale force during the late night and early morning hours today through early Mon. A series of cold fronts passing N of the area have increased NE winds in the lee of Cuba and the Windward Passage this morning and should expand to the S coast of Hispaniola early Mon before dissipating. The pressure gradient will relax by Mon night...and winds and seas will decrease over the forecast waters except the Gulf of Honduras where a fresh SE breeze will pulse Wed and Thu mornings.
