Today, skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be E during the day at 15 to 20 mph. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet. This afternoon and evening winds will be from the ENE.
Tonight and tomorrow, there is a slight chance of scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially during the early morning, late night hours.
A cold front in the Gulf of Mexico, extending from the Florida Panhandle to the Bay of Campeche will stall this evening...then move northwestward on Sunday reaching the far NW Gulf waters early Monday. A second cold front will move into the NW Gulf on Monday absorbing the remnants of
the first front. The merged front will extend from Apalachicola, Florida to the western Bay of Campeche on Tuesday...then stall from Sarasota, Florida to 25N95W to the central Bay of Campeche on Wednesday into Thursday.
The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 80°F to 82°F or 25ºC to 26ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.

The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed very little in area and density in the last 24 hours. See Figs. 9 and 9a below.
